Small Businesses are most vulnerable during the early stages of operation. In fact, the U.S. Small Business Administration estimates that only 44% of small businesses continue to operate after four years. To help nurture companies during their most fragile state, business incubators provide a support process that accelerates the successful development of startup and fledgling companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services. The National Business Incubator Association (NBIA) found that 87% of incubated companies are still in business five years after graduating from their program.

Caddo Kiowa Business Development Center/ Incubator is a place for entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses to call home. The CKBDC/Incubator has mixed use space available as well as dedicated office space and potential shared spaced available.

The process for becoming a CKBDC/Incubator tenant is as follows:

  • Present business idea to CKBDC/Incubator manager
  • Develop business plan
  • Fill out CKBDC/Incubator Application
  • Present business idea and business plan to CKBDC/Incubator board
  • If application and business idea is accepted tenant will have opportunity to be a tenant of the CKBDC/Incubator for 3 to 5 years or until the business is viable to move out.
