Industry & Safety Training
Safety doesn’t happen by accident!
The National Safety Council reminds us that most accidents are caused by the failure of some individuals to follow simple and fundamental safety rules and precautions, Common sense dictates the use of protective clothing when working on or near machinery. Use appropriate safety devices to protect your eyes, ears, hands, feet and body. You, as a careful employee, are the best insurance against an accident.
Injuries, accidents and lost days not only threaten productivity and increase costs but also significantly affect employee morale. Fortunately for our local businesses, Caddo Kiowa Technology Center can help with a wide variety of safety training – customized for your needs.
Implementing a safety program is a cost-effective decision for any company. Safety programs are proven methods of lowering injury rates, which lead to higher profit margins. According to the National Safety Council, companies that implement strategic safety plans and expect to see injury and illness rates reduced by 20% or more.
It is well known that a safe work environment boosts employee morale, which in turn, increases productivity, efficiency and profit margins. When people feel safe at work, they also feel like they can make a difference. This leads to fewer staff absences and less staff turnover.
